| Thulabharam : |

Offering something (Sugar, Plantaim etc)
equal to one’s weight. For it the person may sit/lie in one plate of
the balance and his weight is measured; or equal offerings are put in
the other plate. This observation has been performed for a very long
time. Former Abp. Of Thrissur, Mar Joseph Kundukulam had observed this
holy offering. The significance of this offering is the total self dedication
to St.Joseph. |

Salute fires (Kadina) are done at the shrine
as per the offering of the devotees. Pilgrims can see that their special
gratitude is expressed through such fires then and there, on request.
This offering varies as per the schedule like fires, /50/20/ ordinary
offering/special etc. |

| Lockets

|
|
Devotees can get gold/silver lockets from
the office having the picture of the shrine and Heavenly Patron embossed
on both the sides. |

|
The eneavement in which the holy statue
is positioned may be kept open on request. |
|

A)
Human Figure : |
Devotees can have a silver human effigy
and give it back after praying for some time. This denotes total submission
to the Patron. |

B)
Parts of human body : |
|
|
One can have silver representation of various
organs of the body and do the same. This offering is done if a particular
organ suffers from pain, infection etc. |
|
|
Self
Submission (Adima) : |
Through this spiritual exercise one becomes
a slave to St. Joseph. The person will kneel in front of the holy statue
and pray for special blessings. This offering is renewed every year
by paying the renewal fee, and with special prayers. |

A devotee can show his gratitude or submission
by offering his share of Wednesday observation |
